October Scrap the Girls Challenge...

Morning all!

Well I had a chance to have a go at the October 'Scrap the Girls'   this month - first time for me.

The challenge is "Create a layout with the word ‘love’ in the title and to use ‘distressing’ on your layout."

Here is what I came up with...

This was one of those lo's that didn't come easy and I'm still not sure about it but what the heck - it is what it is!

We had a little swap and this was in my parcel - TOTALLY LOVE THEM!!

I DO love this adorable Stuff2Scrap bird and cage by Leanne Pearce - SO cute!! I have been saving this cause it's so cute! I wanted it to have a patchwork look so I covered it with a mish mash of papers and put on some doodling.

So that's it - the papers are the new sidewalk by October Afternoon.  I was SO LUCKY to win an 8x8 pad over on Felicity Wilson's   blog and not only did she send me these adorable papers but some goodies to with it - I was so THRILLED!

Bird is the word 'Together'...

Morning all!
Wowzers I have been flat out lately! I have a very dear friend coming from Melbourne and I am SO EXCITED to be catching up with her tomorrow night in Brisbane!! SO, I have been working on a few little goodies for her (it's her 40th Birthday too so a girl has to be spoiled right?!) I will share those pics when I get back (Haven't finished them yet lol!!)...

Anyway here is a lo for Bird is the Word 'Together'....

Paper is Timmy resist and some October Afternoon; yellow flowers are Manour House and the 2 buttons are Purple Pumpkin (thanks Kaz mmmmmwa!!); The bubble border is Stuff2Scrap  (love this one!!) and the blue puffy flower with the badge in the middle is a little somethin' I threw together and that's about it!!

October Handmade by Suzanne Challenge...

Happy Thursday everyone!
This is my first time having a go at the 'Handmade by Suzanne' Sketch challenge.  I purchased some goodies a while back and her service is absolutley awesome! ... great range in her store too so be sure to take a squizzy! Oh... that is where I have been getting my Manor House flowers too - SOOOO in love with them!! Anyway here is my take on the sketch...

October Stuck Sketches Challenge...

Hi all... Just a quick share today... This layout is for the October Stuck Sketches challenge... I have been trying really hard to totally clear out my scrapping space so it's a little more 'streamlined'... it is taking FOREVER!! As I'm going through all my goodies I keep getting distracted with ideas for pages so it's taking longer than anticipated!! LOL! ANYWAY... here is my layout...

It's a bit of a mix of product but the flowers are Manor House (lg white one) and the green one is handmade. That gorgeous chippy is Stuff 2 Scrap - called Leanne's Sea Grass - LOVE IT!!

Kraft It Up October...

Hi all!! Well I have had some fun today with modelling paste and the  Kraft It Up October Challenge... You could choose a few different 'styles' and I went with Monochromatic... OH WHY DID I DO THAT!!! I honestly STRUGGLE with mono layouts and this was NO different! I'm still not sure I like it but it's growing on me... I think!

Papers and buttons are the MME 'Lost and Found Two' ... I just got enough to do this lo because I wanted the yellow to go with my little girl's lion.....

The text reads: 

Your beloved Lion fell into the fire on a camping trip…. There were lots of tears (I think Mummy may have cried just a little more than you… maybe) …We thought there wouldn’t be much chance of saving him … UNTIL…. Nanny came to the rescue!! He went to the ‘hospital’ at Boonooroo and Nanny un-stuffed, washed, clipped, soaked and cleaned him and spent hours patching him back up! She waited until we came for a visit so you could help her sew the last pieces together (including a gorgeous little love heart on his hand). You said that it didn’t matter what he looked like, he is much better now because he has had so much love put into him!

October Challenge over at Stuff2Scrap...

Hi!! Hope you all had a lovely weekend - we sure did!

I am very excited to be putting up the challenge over at Stuff2Scrap this month and it's a really fun and pretty open challenge.....

It's a 4,3,2,1 challenge!....

4 different pattern papers
3 flowers
2 tags
1 Stuff2Scrap chippy (another brand is ok too but how could you NOT scrap with the Stuff2Scrap chippies?!!)

This is just a minimum requirement... you can add more of each item and you can also add more elements - paint, mist stickers etc... it just has to have at least what is on the list.
You can create a card, layout or off the page project if you like!

I decided to do a wall hanging for my office for something a little different.....
